今日は、不思議の国のアリスの「姿見のそばにあった小瓶に口をつけてみた」シーンのイラスト付き単語帳を描きました。
物語中に出てきたeyeを使った「なるほど～」な表現もありますので、良かったら見てください(*^_^*)
姿見のそばの小さな瓶
By this time Alice had found her way into a tidy little room with a table in the window, and on it a fan and two or three pairs of tiny white kid gloves: she took up the fan and a pair of the gloves, and was just going to leave the room, when her eye fell upon a little bottle that stood near the looking-glass.
There was no label this time with the words “DRINK ME,” but nevertheless she uncorked it and put it to her lips.
２階に上がると、アリスはきれいに片付けられた小さな部屋を見つけました。
窓際にはテーブルがあって、その上に扇子１本と、ちっちゃくて白い、子ヤギ革の手袋が２～３組置いてありました。
扇子と手袋１組を手に取り、部屋から出ようとしたちょうどそのとき、姿見のそばに小さな瓶があることに気がつきました。
今回は「わたしを飲んで」というラベルは付いていませんでしたが、それでもアリスは瓶の栓を抜いて、口をつけてみました。
eyeを使った表現
