今日は、英字新聞の記事「世界最大の氷山が南極から分離して氷片になった」ことについて、イラスト付き単語帳を描きました。

世界最大の氷山が南極から分離
The world’s largest iceberg, roughly the shape of Manhattan but close to 80 times larger, has calved from Antarctica and floated into the Weddell Sea.
Scientists aren’t attributing this particular break-off to human-induced climate change, and instead, believe it’s part of a natural cycle.
米ニューヨークのマンハッタンのような形をしているが、面積は80倍近くある世界最大の氷山が南極から分離し、ウェッデル海に浮かぶ氷片になったことがわかった。
科学者らは、この分離は気候変動のためではなく、自然の周期によるものだとしている。
